The engines originally were supplied by Keith Iaia and SCREAM, Inc. in San Miguel, California, however currently the engines are supplied by Roush Yates Performance Products.

The 55-1040 K&N air filter assembly, which includes the washable and reusable RE-0970 air filter, is designed to fit these engines and it is easy to install. The assembly also comes with an electro-galvanized base, a black powder-coated metal mounting plate to attach the filter to the velocity stacks and all required mounting hardware.
