Been using K&N filters since 1988.
When I collect my car, be it bought new or used, first thing installed is a K&N filter.
I do not need to change any air filter, which saves me money in long run.
And when I change cars, the filter still can sell away as second hand product, why not?
People who worry the oil damaging the air sensor, that is because they do not how to oil properly. Follow the instructions and you will be fine and once in awhile, spray some contact cleaner to the air sensor to clean it.
I will always use K&N filters on my future car.
