A perfect fit for my muscle car application. Works great with today's synthetic oils. A perfect fit & removal is just as easy with the built in 1 nut. I only use K&N oil filters for my personal vehicles. Simply, the best.

Filter purchased to fit classic Rover 3500v8. Rather 'does what is says on the tin'. The car is a classic cruiser and won't be put through highly stressful driving. I just wanted a filter with a good reputation and this one appears to be a frequently recommended option amongst classic Rover drivers. Paired with Millers Pistoneeze oil. Simple change. One minor criticism is there is too much paint on the 1''' nut so getting a secure spanner-grip is not easy, particularly in a tight space where the spanner head is not perfectly aligned. Would be better if the nut was unpainted or had better defined flames and corners to enable a cleaner grip with the spanner.

I own a 67 Firebird 400 restomod. The K&N oil filter that I use is one of the few high end filters that will fit in the cars stock location, very tight fit next to frame rail. I have to buy it directly from K&N. The ones off the shelf at local auto parts stores have a black lip around the rim and are 1/16 too long. The one that I purchase directly has a silver lip and fits perfectly (sourced from China, I believe but functionally the same product) I will continue to buy this product as long as it is available.
