Ford 2012 F-250 Diesel - Love the reusable oil filter, had one previously in a Honda Goldwing with great success. This filter is much finer (10 years later). I think it makes a great combination with an oil bypass filter so that the full flow is much freer letting the bypass filter do the fine filtering. Very pleased, treat the filter mesh very carefully, oily parts can be slippery.

Though I've been using K&N Air filter since sometime in the 90's and wouldn't use any other air filter. I started using the HP-4005 Oil Filter for my first time on my 2015 Super Duty 6.7L Diesel. I just completed my 8th oil change using the K&N Oil filter and working in the petro industry, I took a quart of oil from the 7th oil change to a friend at work. He performed some testing on both the oil for possible break downs as well as he filtered the oil checking the size & amount of particulates in the oil that ran through the filter. It appears that the K&N Oil filter performs exactly as it should. I was told that there were no-traceable amounts of particulates in the oil and that almost always there are when testing other filters. It was the first time my friend has performed any testing on oil ran through the K&N, but stated he's changing from [brand] filter to the K&N in the future. Also, the filter is simple to remove with a socket or combination wrench.

Never had a issue with K&N oil filter. Will use them as long as I can drive.
