I purchased one of these for my 2001 Ford Falcon AU Series II XR8 UTE. The K&N panel filter was extremely easy to install and fits the standard airbox perfectly. My UTE has aftermarket headders, exhaust and injectors. The extra airflow of the K&N panel filter compliments these mods and I immediately noticed a positive difference from off the mark acceleration and right through the rev range. I've had no problems with the MAF sensor. I find the K&N panel filter very easy to clean/maintain. In my opinion the K&N panel filter is of great build quality, keeps my engine clean and without a doubt added to the performance of my vehicle. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend K&N products.
